Even comedians are fashionable in Europe.

Think only unattractive people can be funny? Well, I personally think George Clooney is hilarious. Comedian Martina Hill will be on television with Knallerfrauen- her first ever own comedy show on SAT1, beginning on the 3rd of February.

And in the most uninhibited manner possible! In eight episodes on her comedy series, the multi-award winning comedian will play the roles of 106 "fierce women".

Think she will parody Beyonce?



She gets her boobs out as Wonder Woman. She practises her football skills with a melon in the supermarket. And she puts an end to a struggle with a bed sheet by literally pinning it down.

All women in Knallerfrauen have but one goal: To make ends meet in their daily dose of insanity or at least give it a jolly good try . . .the range of bizarre everyday situations and type of women has no boundaries. The comedy queen is convinced: “The wackier, the better!”

Here in Chicago, there's a fantastic all female improv/sketch troupe, Drew's Tumblr, that focuses on issues facing women in their mid 20s-30s. My husband especially loved their parody "The Moms of Facebook." If you are in the Chicago area, I highly recommend coming out to their next show!
