Every first Friday of the month, my department throws a
huge after-hours cocktail event at the museum. Last month, we had over 1,500 attendees! It's a very popular social event downtown and it takes a lot of effort before and during the event to effectively pull off. Last month, MSN.com noted us in their Top 10 National Weekend Events!
What I'm getting at, is that I work a much later shift every first Friday of the month. It's awesome, because I can plan my mornings (last month, I had a check-up... before that, a luxe mani/pedi at the Red Door Spa)... and go shopping!
I also really want to go to Old Orchard this weekend (though I have an afternoon date on Sunday!)
