UGG Corinth boot review:

After three months, I finally received my UGG Corinth wedge boots. I'm happy to report that they were SO worth the wait!

If you are ordering them online, take caution that the ankle of the boot runs tight (which is a design flaw, the zipper needed to extend just a 1/2 inch farther for easier in-n-out access and comfort) and the boot runs pretty true to size.

With my classic UGGs, I wear a size 5 (sometimes, I can even save money by buying the kids' size! holler!) and so I special ordered these in a 5. When I first tried them on, I was near tears because I couldn't get my left foot in them. Once I jammed my foot past the zipper (keeping it classy, always), I realized that the length was fine and that the top of the foot bed just needed to stretch out some.

I was able to work a solid eight hour shift at work in them, on concrete floors. These boots are super comfortable, which I credit the wool shearling insoles as well the 3" rubber wedge... The wedge even makes my feet feel better supported than in my classic UGGs.

Finally, style: The shaft was too wide for me to wear them under straight or boot leg denim. If you're thicker than I am, they might work for you. But they look absolutely adorable with skinny jeans and leggings... I've gotten so many random compliments already: clients, my gyno, a random guy at McDonald's... Everyone is shocked to learn that they are really UGG boots!

I strongly encourage everyone to check out UGG's extended line... I think it is great that the company is evolving with demand. I'm really happy that I can still get a comfortable pair of boots without having to sacrifice style or polish. Total rave!
