I went for Chinese food, I came back with scarves.

I was craving Chinese food like crazy... but sadly, the only place for Chinese food we've previously tried is Hon's Wok and it was Dateline expose- disgusting. Yeah, that fucking disgusting.

So, I Google mapped the closest Pei Wei. I know, real authentic... but when all you're craving is soy sauce and you're looking to spend under $30 for two people, Pei Wei is fine. While we live within a reasonable driving distance to Ladue, we never head over that way... we live in the city afterall! So after dinner, I wanted to drive around the shopping center to see what else was there...

Danger! Danger! An Old Navy. I don't think I've been to an Old Navy within a year and a half... Old Navy is like a Target or Forever 21 to me, everything is so cheap that I lose track of what I'm spending. I found the most perfect little black tee shirt dress, but even though it was only $19.50... I just couldn't buy it because the quality of the cotton was so bad that the black was fading in spots and the fabric was already pilling.

I like cheap thrills as much as the next girl, but the snob in me won't let me wear such cheap fabric and poor construction. I did find two grey tanks that are great for layering under some organic dyed tees I have that have a tendency to transfer color... And I got two GREAT scarves for only $12.50 each! They are a great steal:

... I can't wait to rock my new hot pink plaid scarf with a plain white v-neck tee and my killer AG hot pink acid washed Stilt skinny jeans (color is desert rose, if you're willing to search for them on Google) and white Tory Burch flats tomorrow. I know it sounds dreadfully obnoxious, but trust me... I'm a stylist and I have an eye for these sorts of things. I also picked up a bright, solid yellow scarf to wear with my numerous grey tee shirts and boyfriend jeans.

As for the dress, I've been searching for mad for the dress it is a knock-off of. I found a James Pearse dress that is close but not close enough... the search shall continue!
